Archery

Grissom JROTC Archery follows the NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) curriculum. Archery is a great sport to learn focus, self-control, discipline, patience and the life lessons required to be successful in the classroom and life. Scholarships can be earned through Archery aswell!!

Try-out Requirements

Cadets will need to know the following information before Tryouts:

Identify parts of a Genesis Bow
Identify Parts of an Easton Arrow
Execute and explain the 11 steps to Archery Success
Set up an Archery Range

*There will be an intro to Archery Class prior to Tryouts for cadets to learn the above requirements. Cadets will not be able to shoot arrows until the above skills are demonstrated
